At Rebuilding Literacy, tutoring is designed to help students strengthen academic skills, develop effective study strategies, and build confidence in their learning.

As a high school Student Success Teacher, I understand the challenges students face when assignments feel overwhelming or when they need extra support to stay on track. Tutoring sessions provide structured guidance that helps students improve their understanding, stay organized, and approach their work with greater confidence.

All tutoring materials and learning resources are provided as needed to support student learning.

Tutoring Options

  • $65 / hour

    Most popular option.

    One-on-one tutoring provides personalized academic support tailored to each student’s needs from the comfort of your home or a mutually agreed-upon location. Sessions focus on helping students better understand their coursework, complete assignments, develop effective study strategies, and build confidence in their learning.

    Individual tutoring allows students to work at their own pace while receiving targeted guidance and encouragement.

    Consistent weekly sessions often lead to the strongest progress for students.

    Includes:
    - One hour of one-on-one support
    - Any assessments necessary
    - Strategies and resources students can apply to their classroom
    - A progress report after each session
    - Driving to your home or a mutually agreed-upon location

  • $25 per student /hour

    Group tutoring sessions provide a supportive and supervised environment where students can work on homework and assignments while receiving one-on-one support when needed.

    These sessions are held online and run when a minimum of three students are registered.

  • $720 / month

    This package is perfect for those students taking a summer school course, for those wanting to get a head start on material for next school year, or solidify foundational skills from previous years.

    Only 5 spots available for July 2026.

    Includes:
    - 2 one-on-one in-person sessions per week (available Tues and Thurs)
    - 1 one-on-one online session per week (available Mon and Wed)
    - Tutoring reports after each session
    - Priority scheduling
